Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Hybrid

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have 5+ years designing, implementing, and managing IT infrastructure in enterprise environments.
• Must have Cloud (AWS or Azure) Certification
• Must 7+ have years of relevant hands-on experience in leading and implementing programs.
• Must have demonstrated hands on coding experience.
• Must have a bachelor’s degree or Higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Must be able to obtain a Federal Security Clearance
• Must be able to pass a background check that includes financials.
• Previous or current experience supporting federal government agencies, IRS experience highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.
• Experience in both on-premises and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Required Criteria:

• Proficiency with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security best practices.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with monitoring and management tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, Datadog).
• Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional IT and security teams.
• Understanding of compliance requirements and ability to document infrastructure changes.
