Robert Half (Technology Solutions) is searching for an Infrastructure Engineer / IT Manager with a background in Azure AD/Entra, AD, Leadership, Vendor Relations, VMware, FortiGate, GPO, and Windows Infrastructure. Position: Infrastructure Engineer / IT Manager

Hours/Duration: 40 hrs/wk, M-F, FTE

Job Scope:

Active Directory:

• User administration (creation, password reset, permissions)

• Distribution / Security Groups and object attributes

Azure:

• Microsoft 365 admin center user license assignment and

• Microsoft MFA user configuration and troubleshooting

• Conversion / creation of Shared Mailboxes and permissions / forwarding

• Azure AD Connect installation and troubleshooting

Group Policy:

• Expert analytical skills of existing GPO Policies when troubleshooting results

• Creation of new GPOs and modification of existing ones

VMware:

• VMware ESXi / vCenter

• VM creation / cloning

• VM resource allocation modification

• VM snapshots and rollbacks

Desktop Support:

• In-depth knowledge of general desktop support issues at software and hardware levels

• Deep understanding of Windows 11 OS settings and troubleshooting methodology

• Expert knowledge of desktop and label printers’ operation, configuration, and troubleshooting

• Extensive experience moving entire user profiles and customizations when refreshing computers

• Staging and deploying desktop / laptop computers and peripherals

• Staging and troubleshooting VoIP devices

• Staging and troubleshooting enterprise Android devices (Zebra)

Networking:

• Fortinet firewalls

• Network switching

• Solid understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, subnetting, DNS, switching, port forwarding, etc.).

• VPN connectivity troubleshooting

• RDP configuration and resource forwarding

• General Ethernet and wireless connectivity troubleshooting

Soft skills:

• Communicate technical details in management terms
