Robert Half is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for a client located in Los Angeles, CA (91367). Infrastructure Engineer will play a critical role in maintaining and improving their infrastructure environment both on-prem and in the cloud. Infrastructure Engineer will work closely with their managed service provider, seeking someone with advanced cloud knowledge is essential to keeping us on the cutting edge.

Requirements

Must haves:

• Extensive background in Azure

• Strong Windows server knowledge

• PowerShell scripting

• Will need to help give recommendations and suggestions to the team

• Will consist of adhoc troubleshooting

• Helping modernize infrastructure

• Maintain and improve current environment

• Must be senior enough to be a problem solver and self sufficient.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze infrastructure solutions and systems, including collaborating with requestors to determine infrastructure resource requirements and specifications

• Deploys and maintains infrastructure solutions such as Servers, Storage, and Network Solutions both on-prem and in the Cloud (Azure preferred). Actively manages infrastructure solutions such as performance, analyzes logs, and troubleshoots issues.

• Assists with identifying bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, or performance degradation

• Manage infrastructure environments in accordance with company security guidelines

• Investigate and resolve third-level support requests from end-users by tracing data flows within and/or across systems

• Configuring infrastructure components like networking and security services

• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
