We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Infrastructure Engineering Strategy Lead to join our Infrastructure Engineering team. This role location is not specified.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Provide input into Infrastructure Engineering strategy and plans for a domain or function within the engineering field.
• Lead and ensure proper execution of company-wide project plans and performance requirements for all stages/phases through advising and influencing stakeholders, clients, and leaders of BNY Mellon’s organization.
• Assess the effectiveness of the organization’s existing infrastructure technology and tools, make and implement recommendations to ensure the infrastructure environment is secure, efficient, and up to date-enhancing the reliability, resiliency, and efficiency of the IT infrastructure.
• Lead initiatives to analyze and solve complex infrastructure problems using advanced design and broad IT knowledge, including increasing automation across the organization.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 0-3 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
• Subject matter expertise in several tools and technologies used within infrastructure engineering.
• Proven leadership experience managing human capital resources and collaborating with external vendors, internal partners, and business teams to resolve major infrastructure and tool challenges.
