Instructor (multiple openings -3) – Teach or instruct out-of-school youths and adults beyond the age of compulsory schooling. The classes are on basic High School Equivalency Diploma Preparation, ESL, English Literacy, TOEFL, etc.; prepare course outlines including lessons, assignments, workshops and demonstrations to teach principles, techniques and methods related to English courses and skills based on the materials prepared; prepare and administer tests; collaborate with other teaching professionals to develop educational programs; modify teaching materials/methods to accommodate student needs; participate in faculty meetings; maintain student records; evaluate progress and confer with students; and advise students on academic or career matters.

Bachelors degree in any field. Must hold valid NYS teacher registration.

35 hours/week, $25.20 per hour.
