JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The SC&IS Department of the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University (University Park, PA) invites applications for an instructor position in Supply Chain & Information Systems for a Fall 2025 start date. Salary is competitive. Onsite teaching is an essential function of the job.

Candidates must have a master’s degree in data analytics, information systems, supply chain management or related field. A strong commitment to teaching excellence is expected.

The SC&IS Department comprises a vibrant, research-active faculty with research and teaching interests that traverse the end-to-end supply chain and includes information systems, data analytics, and business statistics. The department offers degree programs in supply chain management, management information systems, and business analytics. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate expertise and teach courses in business analytics, statistics, and Excel that would complement the faculty with high-quality teaching in student-centered and collaborative learning environments. Candidates will be expected to primarily teach undergraduate level courses and engage in service to support curriculum, programs and student experiences.

The Smeal College of Business offers a collegial working environment and excellent campus facilities.
