<div class="isg-job-description“>This employee works the company’s Insurance Eligibility Queue, which identifies when a patient’s insurance has termed, as well as any issues with insurance.
* Works to ensure that the patient’s health care benefits cover the required DME equipment
* Required to contact a patient’s insurance company to verify coverage levels, deductibles, and out of pocked expenses for DME coverage
* Working directly with our patients may be required
* excellent customer service is a must
* Enter data in an accurate manner
* Update patient benefit information in the insurance system and verify the existing information is accurate
* Requires the specialist to spend extensive amounts of time on the phone with insurance companies and/or patients
