Job Summary:
Intelligence Analyst is a member of the Pinkerton Global Investigations Unit, responsible for delivering actionable intelligence that supports client protective intelligence, risk management, and security objectives. Leveraging open-source intelligence (OSINT) and social media intelligence (SOCMINT) experience to conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify potential threats, assess risks, and uncover valuable insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality reports, enhance situational awareness, and proactively mitigate threats, ensuring Pinkerton’s clients are well-prepared to navigate evolving risk environments.This position can be based anywhere (remote) within the United States.
Essential Functions:
- Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Conduct thorough OSINT and SOCMINT research to collect, analyze, and report actionable intelligence on potential threats, adversaries, and security risks.
- Analyze publicly accessible information, including social media platforms, websites, and forums, to provide clients with customized intelligence and investigative solutions.
- Execute business due diligence investigations, encompassing investment assessments, business verification, and vendor evaluations, to support client security and compliance goals.
- Perform digital footprint analyses and vulnerability assessments to evaluate risks associated with individuals, businesses, and organizations.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, such as OSINT and Due Diligence analysts, Investigators, and colleagues, to deliver integrated and comprehensive products.
- Monitor and adapt to emerging trends, tools, and methodologies in OSINT/SOCMINT and due diligence to enhance investigative capabilities and service quality.
- Adhere strictly to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines throughout all investigative processes and activities.
- Represent Pinkerton professionally in conferences, briefings, and client meetings, delivering expert-level security insights and recommendations.
- Cultivate and leverage strong interpersonal and communication skills to protect client interests and build lasting professional relationships.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies, Journalism, International Relations, Criminal Justice, or a related field and 3-5 years of professional experience as an All-Source Analyst with demonstrated proficiency in OSINT and SOCMINT within corporate security, intelligence, government, or law enforcement environments is required. - Skilled in critical thinking and problem-solving, able to synthesize and analyze complex information to derive actionable insights.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating a proactive task approach.
- Proficient in extracting, validating, and analyzing information from public records, including court filings, property records, business registrations, and government databases.
- Expertise in advanced online research methods, including Boolean logic, search engines, databases, and social media tools.
- Current experience using OSINT tools such as LifeRaft Navigator, SkopeNow, and ONTIC to gather and analyze intelligence.
- Skilled in utilizing commercial and industry databases like TLOxp, LexisNexis, Pacer, and ClearStar for in-depth research and analysis.
- Proficient with Deep Web and Dark Web investigation tools and secure access software for advanced research.
- Computer Skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Salary & Benefits Information:
Rate of pay: $65,000/year.
