What You Can Expect

ENGIE is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Intern to join our Supply & Energy Management Power Origination team. The internship work term will be from January 2026 to May 2026, Part-time work schedule working up to 40 hours per week.

• Gather and analyze market data relevant to power origination, which could involve researching market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
• Supporting the evaluation of potential transactions, such as power purchase agreements or trading opportunities, by reviewing terms, pricing, and risk factors.
• Assisting the commercial team in bringing new clients onto ENGIE’s trading platform. Tasks may include collecting client information, ensuring compliance with onboarding requirements, coordinating with internal teams (legal, credit, operations).

What You’ll Bring

• You are a junior or senior (by end of Spring 2026 semester) working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or any related field
• You possess a 3.0 GPA or higher & be able to work up to 40 hours per week
• You have excellent oral and written communication skills
• You are able to think analytically, present ideas professionally, and work in project teams

Additional Details

This role requires attendance at a worksite on a weekly basis;

Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies;

Compensation

Hourly Range: $22.50 – $28.50 USD hourly

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
