Job Title: Intern/Aide

Division: Integrative Physiology

Work Arrangement: Onsite only

Salary Range: Hiring up to $15/hour

FLSA Status: Nonexempt

Work Schedule: Flexible

Summary

The intern will receive training on machine learning algorithms, implementing them, and fitting them on the datasets in our cluster computers. Overall, the position will offer great exposure to genomic data science and advanced machine learning.

Job Purpose

Provides temporary administrative or laboratory support to a department while gaining practical work experience.

Job Duties

• The PI will identify the specific datasets and machine learning algorithms, the intern will implement the algorithms in Python/R and fit them on the datasets in our cluster computers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in high school or be a high school graduate (or equivalent secondary education) or enrolled in an institution of higher education.
