Bring your interest in strategy, sustainability, M&A, transformations, and business development into play as you help deliver integrated and sustainable solutions as a management consulting intern. In this position, you will gain insights into a global consultancy while obtaining solid knowledge of what it takes to be a management consultant.

Your new role

• Assisting in sales proposal scoping and writing
• Assisting in planning and facilitation of client engagements including workshops & training sessions
• Planning and assistance in collection and analysis of focus groups interviews and organisational data
• Preparing and analysing organisational readiness and needs assessment
• Assistance in project management through process planning, key takeaways from engagements and communication

Your new team

You will work with a small team of experienced consultants and managers with many years of combined experience within and consulting for companies and public sector organisations. Our focus is on promoting a more resilient, sustainable society for everyone by helping organisations, processes and major development projects work better. We develop and deliver tailored services to help each client organisation take their next step. Our clients include private companies, energy utilities, pension funds, municipalities, and state agencies – often in collaboration with colleagues from other parts of Ramboll within Energy, Transport, and Buildings. We also collaborate often with colleagues consulting in digital transformation, ESG and social impact analyses. We do this primarily through:

• Organisational development, shaping organisational cultures where people can thrive, with a focus on diversity and inclusion and leadership development
• Delivery of program management services, including facilitating of collaboration on complex projects between different stakeholders and suppliers/contractors
• Change management, supporting organisations in implementing new ways of working with readiness assessment, communication and training

As a management consulting intern, you’ll be part of a dynamic team working across a wide range of disciplines including strategy, sustainability, M&A, public policy, organisational transformation, and business development. You’ll contribute to projects that involve data collection, stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, and implementation planning, gaining hands-on experience with the tools and approaches that define modern consulting.

• Currently studying or about to begin your graduate studies or relevant higher education, typically within business, economics, sustainability, or engineering
• Among the best in your class
• Relevant work experience from student jobs, internships, or extracurricular activities
• A structured approach with strong analytical and conceptual capabilities
• Ability to think strategically, have a high level of abstraction, and the ability to put yourself in the client’s shoes
• Ability to work independently, but at the same time be a team player
• Experience in using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Professional proficiency in English (Proficiency in Danish is not mandatory, but it will be beneficial)

Basic information

Salary: The internship will be unpaid.
