Job Description:Do you have a passion for customer service, great communication skills and enjoy building long term relationships with your customers?Then this role as an Internal Strategic Account Manager/Hire Controller could be an excellent fit.The role is based in Bury and you will be working for a major supplier of site welfare and equipment who are renowned for their great eco credentials . The Internal Strategic Account Manager will establish and maintain long term customer relationships by managing existing customer accounts, establishing needs and presenting and promoting the company’s products, tailoring offers to match the individual customer’s requirements.Candidates should have

  • Previous success in a fast paced sales and customer service environment
  • Experience in gathering relevant information to progress customers through the sales process.
  • Excellent negotiation and customer relationship building skills, comfortable dealing with a wide range of customers and people.
  • Excellent communication skills and be enthusiastic and results driven.
  • Strong objection handling skills.
  • A professional and confident telephone manner with the ability to identify opportunities to upsell.

Experience/understanding of the construction/hire industry would be beneficial, but not essential as full training will be givenThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working in a customer focused sales role and has a positive and dynamic approach to their work. We are looking for an individual with great, hands on, problem solving skills, with the ability to make good commercial decisions and take ownership of problems. You’ll have a track record of achievement and be able to demonstrate high levels of integrity when dealing with both customers and colleagues.
