WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER

The Intern will be working with the Global Marketing and Communications
team by supporting the development of conservation projects that could
help TNC learn about and more deeply engage with diverse audiences
around the world.

As the International Activation Intern, you will:

  • Support the development of content for TNC’s tier one conservation
    projects, which includes follow up with our regions’ Marketing and
    Communications’ teams, central teams and external vendors
  • Research and update content on regional websites
  • Develop social media posts and other promotional materials with new
    content
  • Support the implementation of several projects across multiple
    channels in all global regions/priority countries, including Africa,
    Europe, Latin America region, Brazil, India, Asia-Pacific, China,
    Indonesia, Hong Kong, Australia, and Mongolia
  • Attend calls with TNC’s Latin America and other global regions
  • Supports efforts to coordinate projects and communications
    deliverables
  • Duties are performed under direct supervision and established
    guidelines

We are looking for an International Activation Intern to fill a paid
10-week summer internship. The intern may be an undergraduate student in
their junior or senior year. This position is home-based in the United
States and will provide a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between
academics and real-world work. We offer an orientation, professional
networking opportunities, and real-world work experience.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • HS Diploma or equivalent. Currently enrolled in an undergraduate
    (junior/senior) program of communications, marketing, or related
    field, or a recent graduate with a degree in one of these or a
    related field
  • Experience in Marketing and Communications field
  • Proficient in written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in research, writing, and editing
  • Access to a reliable internet connection

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Great communication and collaboration skills
  • Close attention to detail
  • Spanish and or Portuguese is a huge plus
  • Coursework and/or exposure related to communications/marketing
  • Self-starter, taking initiative, and demonstrating confidence to ask
    questions and seek input
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience
    appreciated
  • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software, with the
    ability to construct and produce reports
