Job Summary Investment Banking Associate, Consumer & RetailJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?To join as an associate within the European Consumer, Retail and Leisure team within investment banking. You will support the marketing and execution of M&A, debt, equity and other financial advisory services.What will you do?

• Assisting in the execution of mandated deals
• Assisting in preparation of marketing pitchbooks and related materials
• Gathering public information through numerous sources
• Creating financial model analyses
• Analysing company performance on an absolute and relative basis
• Drafting marketing documents for clients
• Producing and maintaining various databases
• General research
• Provide support to other transaction teams as required.

What do you need to succeed?Must have

• University degree or equivalent
• Extensive investment banking experience or equivalent
• Strong analytical skills (financial modelling)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Computer software skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Hardworking, enthusiastic and professional work ethic
• Knowledge of Investment Banking services and the ability to apply them creatively to diverse client needs
• Fluent written and spoken English

Nice to have

• An additional European language/would be an advantage
