Job Overview: The IRC in Turlock seeks a Financial Capabilities Supervisor to support its Economic Empowerment programming for refugees and other immigrants. Financial counseling and coaching involve an ability to engage and motivate clients, a strong understanding of personal finances, and the ability to teach that knowledge to others. The Financial Capabilities Supervisor is responsible for assisting clients in developing plans that help them reach their goals and achieve financial stability. The Financial Capabilities Supervisor will oversee the provision of all financial coaching and counseling service delivery while also providing one-on-one coaching and conducting classes and workshops on topics such as budgeting, credit building, banking, and financial products.

Position Reports to: Economic Empowerment Manager
Position directly supervises: Microenterprise Business Counselor, Youth and Family Specialist, and Auto Education Specialist.
Indirect Supervision: N/A
Other Internal and/or external contacts:
Internal: Collaborate closely with other departments where the client caseload overlaps, including communicating with other department managers. Coordinate with the Finance, Community Relations, and Development teams as needed.
External: Community-based organizations, asset-building coalitions, funders
