IT Hardware Asset Inventory Management specialist (5 days onsite)

5 Days Onsite from Riverside, RI

Role is not relocation eligible.

Operational role with IT asset management, logistics, process improvement and workflow.

Education/ Experience:

Minimum bachelor’s degree – preferred. Specialization in Operations, IT Asset Management, Workflow, Process Improvement & ServiceNow is desirable. 5+ years’ experience.

Skills and Competencies:

• Working knowledge of ServiceNow and Hardware Asset Module.
• Ability to quickly learn organizational structure, business strategies and processes.
• Knowledgeable on business process modeling, process mapping.
• Capable of writing clear and well-structured business requirements documents.
• Contributes to the development of detailed level process maps to facilitate requirements gathering, gap analysis and for training use.
• Ability to resolve minor conflicts/issues using different tactics for prior to escalation.
• Work with team members to understand the needs of the department.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a strong command of the English language written and oral.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Track and manage all assets to ensure accurate assignment to users.
• Verify approval for users with multiple devices assigned. reclaim any unapproved additional assets
• Correct data discrepancies in the ServiceNow (SNOW), including user asset mapping errors and issues related to asset status changes such as mislabeling or lost/stolen assets.
• Identify and document missing devices accurately while keeping system records up to date.
• Assist in filling out detailed information regarding missing contract dates.
• Ensure that asset statuses of terminated employees are accurately reflected in the system, preventing any assets from being marked as “in use” long after the employee’s exit.
• Update asset status promptly and correctly upon their return to the PC Depot to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Work with ServiceNow team to import all new assets received.
• Audit all stockroom locations on a quarterly basis
• Evaluate the current return process and identify bottlenecks. Implement automation where possible to streamline return

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $ 84,000 – $ 126,000 .per year plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
