A Snapshot of Your Day

As IT Manager Product Information Management Solution Design your role involves overseeing and managing a team of solution architects and PLM domain experts within the area of Product Information management – mainly Teamcenter. Your focus will be to ensure cross service collaboration to shape one joint team who drives design and implementing business requirements along our PLM journey. You will support the global collaboration between the teams, the Digital PLM services, Digital PLM projects and the business units.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Demonstrate disciplinary and professional leadership for a team of solution architects and Digital technical domain experts in the PLM Product information management workstream.
You and your team show responsible to provide solutions within Product information management applications (mainly Teamcenter) to meet business requirements by leveraging common knowledge and tools across the platforms.
Support project staffing by leveraging internal team expertise as well as extended workbench capabilities of preferred partners outside of Siemens Energy
Suild and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding business needs, and offering tailored PLM solutions.
Improve communication approach and stakeholder management for PLM projects in collaboration with the global team.
You take care for the development and availability of an adequate Digital expertise to meet the demands of the Digital services and projects.

What You Bring

University studies in computer science, business informatics, mechanical engineering, or comparable education required.
10+ years of experience in a Digital driven position with 5+ years of leadership experience leading multi-national teams, including offshore and near shore teams with a focus on PLM system design and PLM processes.
Excellent proven knowledge in PLM Product information management with focus on business process understanding and solution design.
Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to change.
Willingness to travel as needed for global business stakeholders.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and networking skills, including cross-cultural abilities.
A demonstrated affinity for tackling challenging projects head-on and delivery business value to the delight of your customers.
