Axient is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Project Manager – Journeyman to support our customer in Eglin AFB, FL. In this role you will be working in both SAP and non-SAP environments, and stakeholders such as outside vendors, the customer, other agencies.

What you will do…

• Must be a fully competent professionals in all aspects of the subject matter area

• Able to devise new approaches to problems encountered and perform all functional duties independently.

• Experienced with the Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems, Windows applications, as well as network peripherals such as printers and scanners.

• Assist with system administration of network, Web, and/or communication systems, including LAN and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems, involving network security;

• Assist with managing hardware and software, perform configuration management and troubleshooting on IT related equipment;

• Assist end-users with the operation and restoration of information systems;

• Perform daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems which may be mainframe, mini, client/server, or cloud based and optimizes system operation and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis, planning, and lifecycle management.

• Provide assistance to users in accessing and using business systems, and;

• Prepare technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions including actions, milestones, timelines and critical paths required for complete solutions.

• Knowledge of a wide range of telecommunications theories, concepts, principles, practices, procedures, DoD policies, standards, and operational requirements.

Skills you will need…

• Completed Bachelor’s degree, seven (7) years of professional experience and IAT Level II certification (ex. Sec+, CySA+); or

• Or, Completed Bachelor’s degree, five (5) years of professional experience and IAT Level III certification (ex. CASP+, CISSP); or

• Or, Completed Master’s degree, five (5) years of professional experience and IAT Level II certification (ex. Sec+, CySA+); or

• Or, Completed Master’s degree, three (3) years of professional experience and IAT Level III certification (ex. CASP+, CISSP)

• Windows Server Operating System certification desired

• Must have an active Secret Clearance.
