Job Summary

The IT specialist will serve as the point of escalation for technical issues, and answer questions regarding upgrades, installations, and other software/hardware/network issues.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point of escalation for technical issues, and answer questions regarding upgrades, installations, and other software/hardware/network issues
  • Accurately diagnose client technical issues; gather the necessary information; and perform standard research/troubleshooting using all relevant available resources
  • Effectively implement the steps found in available resources by following the instructions and using a variety of remote access, user admin, and related tools
  • Contact end users for scheduled troubleshooting appointments
  • Identify potential outages and other problems (via information gathering, ticket trends, etc.) and communicate the information to Leaderships in a timely manner
  • Managing Distribution Lists
  • Review spam/phishing incidents and react accordingly
  • Client User Account Creation/Deactivation
  • Remote Access Maintenance
  • Active Directory
  • New hires/Termination Requests
  • Managing VPN account/access
  • Secure file/Folder Access Management/Restore files from backups

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Industry or IT experience required
