IT Systems Administrator

Job Category: Full Time – DIRECT HIRE EMPLOYMENT, Onsite position

Location: Memphis, TN

Compensation: $100,000-110,000 + Full Benefits

Reports to: IT Manager

BBSI is partnering with a well-established distribution company in Memphis, TN to identify an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join its growing technology team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on IT professional who enjoys supporting both business systems and infrastructure. Working closely with the IT Manager, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the company’s ERP platform, supporting end users, improving business processes, and ensuring reliable day-to-day technology operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong ERP experience, preferably NetSuite or Acumatica, along with a solid background supporting Windows environments within a distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain organization.

Key Responsibilities

ERP & Business Systems Support

• Provide day-to-day support, administration, and troubleshooting of the company’s ERP system
• Assist with ERP configuration, reporting, saved searches, workflows, and user support.
• Partner with business departments to improve system functionality and operational processes.
• Support ERP upgrades, testing, enhancements, and ongoing optimization.

IT Systems Administration

• Administer Windows desktops, laptops, servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, and SharePoint environments.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, security groups, and system access.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
• Monitor system performance, backups, security updates, and overall system health.

Technical Support

• Provide Tier II/III technical support for end users.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, printers, and connectivity issues.
• Document technical procedures and assist with IT policy development.
• Train users on ERP functionality and business applications.
• Work closely with the IT Manager on technology initiatives, ERP enhancements, and continuous

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT Systems Administration or Business Systems experience supporting distribution, manufacturing or logistics environment
• Strong ERP experience, preferably NetSuite or Acumatica.
• Experience supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, and SharePoint.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of network fundamentals and cybersecurity best practices.
