Java Backend Developer
Location: Glasgow
Duration of the Assignment: 1 yearJob Purpose and primary objectives:
Role Profile:
You will primarily as a Java 8+ Developer as part of a collaborative agile development team. You will work on a modern micro service-based Java 8+ platform which runs on own internal cloud you will be responsible for continuously improving the quality of our system & codebase including code reviews & refactoring where necessary.
Required Skills:
Experience of Agile & scrum methodologies Minimum 5 years of experience with Core Java (version 8+) Unix shell scripting SQL & Relational Databases such as DB2 Integration Technologies – MQ/XML/SOAP/JSON/Protocol Buffer/Spring Enterprise Architecture Pattern,GoF design Build & Agile – ANT,Gradle/Maven,Sonar ,Jenkins/Hudson,GIT/perforce Sound understanding of Object Oriented Analysis ,Design & Programming Strong communication skills
Desired Skills :
Experience in banking & regulatory reporting Knowledge of OTC ,listed & cash products Domain driven design & microservices experience Knowledge of English is required.
