Jr Analyst – Health Information Management

Description

We are seeking a Junior Analyst – Health Information Management to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role plays a vital part in supporting the integrity, accessibility, and quality of patient health records in a fast-paced, 24/7 clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare, scan, index, and reconcile clinical documentation to ensure timely availability of patient information for care delivery.
• Contribute to data integrity initiatives and support chart audits and database maintenance.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to uphold high standards of health information management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to data quality.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a high-volume, time-sensitive setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and health information workflows is an asset.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Health Information Management or related field preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records (e.g., HPF, Meditech, Cerner) is an asset.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of privacy legislation and health information standards (e.g., CIHI, PHIA).
