Position: Embedded Software Test Engineer

Job Description:

Perform software testing tasks of a technical nature including but not limited to writingtest procedures, testing of engineering products as well as working as part of a multi-disciplined engineering project team.

Analyze and write test approaches and procedures. Maintain documentation of testresults to assist in debugging and modification of software. Consult with developmentengineers in resolution of problems.

Nature of Duties:

• Responsible for planning, creation, and execution of software test cases
• Perform system integration, verification, and validation activities
• Document test results
• Work closely with the development teams and contribute in every aspect ofsoftware lifecycle

education/experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a relateddiscipline required
• 2 – 5 years’ software testing experience including testing in embedded softwaresystems
• System or network administrator experience preferred
• Skilled in writing test procedures in a requirements’ driven process.
• Experience with military communication equipment is desired
• Experience in at least a CMMI-DEV Maturity Level 3 organization is preferred
• Cisco network experience including Call Manager preferred
• Must have or be able to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification
