Junior Bridge Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Bridge Engineer to join our team. You will work closely with a team of experts working alongside our customers on some of North America’s most significant projects. And we are proud to have contributed to projects like the Fargo-Moorhead Flood Diversion in Fargo, ND, the Potomac River Crossing in Washington, DC, and the Van Sinderen Avenue Streetscape Improvements in Brooklyn, NY.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Prepare designs and analysis calculations and reports for various types of bridges and other transportation related structures.
- Prepare and run models, analyze and evaluate results using engineering software
- Prepare specifications and engineer’s estimates.
- Solve engineering problems and challenges as a team member working with other disciplines and professionals.
- Perform site visits and inspections and prepare photos, notes, and/or reports as required.

On top of that, you will:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or higher with concentration in structures
- 0 to 4 years of work experience in Structural Engineering
- Either have passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) or be willing to take and pass FE within 1 year after hiring.
- Engage with professional associations and be able and willing to learn
- Have keen attention to detail along with reasoning and decision-making skills
- Possess good methodical, planning and organizational skills combined with the ability to multi-task
- Be familiar with various structural analysis software programs
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Base compensation: $60,000 to $96,000 for New York City location only. Actual compensation is subject to variations due to education, experience, skill set and/or location.
