Junior Product Safety Engineer

Your Tasks

• Perform safety testing in accordance with international safety standards and internal test procedures in a laboratory environment when required.
• Review test plans, specifications, and project documentation prior to initiating testing activities.
• Prepare accurate and clearly structured technical reports and supporting documentation aligned with applicable standards.
• Generate project revenue by recording engineering hours related to constructional reviews, testing, preliminary evaluations, and certification activities.
• Ensure all test documentation is completed in a timely manner and ready for integration into final test reports.
• Maintain uptodate knowledge of test equipment operation and ensure calibration, functionality, and proper use.
• Follow standard laboratory procedures, including documentation practices, equipment storage, test area cleanup, and test area signout.

Your Qualifications

• Professional experience in product safety testing, compliance, engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of international safety standards and testing methodologies.
• Ability to prepare clear, detailed technical reports and provide constructive feedback.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
• Preferred:
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment operation, calibration requirements, and safe laboratory practices.

Additional Information

• The anticipated annual base pay range for this full-time position is $70,000 – 80,000. Actual base pay will be determined based on various factors, including years of relevant experience, training, qualifications, and internal equity.
