Job Title: Junior Project Manager – Civil ConstructionLocation: Abbotsford, BC (office-based initially, then hybrid)Industry: Civil Infrastructure / Utilities / Site DevelopmentAbout the Opportunity This is more than just a job, it’s a launchpad for your long-term career in civil construction.Our client is seeking a Junior Project Manager who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, learn the ropes, and fast-track their way to becoming a Senior PM.Starting in their Abbotsford office, you’ll work closely with experienced project managers and estimators on a variety of civil infrastructure projects, from deep utilities and roadworks to complex site developments.As you grow into the role, you’ll take the reins on your own projects and eventually step into a senior leadership track. For the right candidate, the sky truly is the limit.Duties:

• Support Project Managers with scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and documentation
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and field teams to keep projects on track
• Assist in preparing and reviewing contracts, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
• Work closely with estimators and participate in tender submissions
• Maintain project documentation and logs (cost tracking, materials, etc.)
• Visit sites as needed to monitor progress and build relationships with field crews
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in civil construction, project coordination, or estimating
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Solid understanding of construction processes, documents, and best practices
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Eager to learn, tech-savvy, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• A self-starter who’s driven by growth, not just a title
