Junior Systems Administrator in Boca Raton, Florida

Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure, Group Policy, and Exchange. As a Junior System Administrator, you will assist in the management and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems.

• Assist in the administration and maintenance of Azure cloud services.

• Manage and configure Group Policies to enforce security settings and streamline user experience.

• Support and maintain Microsoft Exchange environments, including mailbox creation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.

• Implement and maintain security measures to protect data and systems.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as updates, patches, and backups.

• Assist in the documentation of IT procedures and configurations.

• Provide technical support to end-users and resolve helpdesk tickets in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with senior IT staff on projects and initiatives to improve system performance and security.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in system administration.

  Requirements

• Proven experience in Azure administration, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.

• Strong knowledge of Group Policy management and configuration.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange administration and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with Windows Server environments and Active Directory.

• Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, MCSA) are a plus.
