Duties:
- Furnace loading/unloading
- Batching raw materials
- Keeping daily activity records
- Preventative furnace and lab equipment maintenance
- Assisting in building new custom furnace/mechanical equipment
- Lab cleaning
- Carefully follow industrial procedures and working instructions
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Weekend shifts may be needed

Requirements
- Technical school graduate or equivalent experience
- Craftsman skill level with assembly hand tools and light power tools
- Competence in the use of measurement tools, gauges, and meters
- Attention to detail and ability to retain communicated information
- Appropriate communication skills to convey information to other associates and supervisors
- Following guidance from superiors and proper chain of command
- Capable to work well independently assuming responsibility for own work
- Neat, accurate, and consistent work
- Preferred experience with furnace equipment, electric equipment, and optical components
- Capable of using standard PC software (Microsoft Excell, Word, etc.)
