This role provides critical support for the firm’s product development initiatives, client management, competitor and industry analysis to inform strategy, partner with other business units and increase our product exposure at distribution partner firms. This role will work closely with the other members of the National Accounts team to meet the below objectives.How You’ll Make an Impact1) Collaborate with External Clients & Industry ConferencesPrepare, organize and present materials and presentations for external clients and other industry leaders.Assist with organizing speakers and SMEs to enhance Fidelity’s brand and relationship at external conferences and events.2) Internal Resource for Sales Team and Business PartnersBe key contact for sales and internal business partners to answer questions about products and processes.Educate, present and create communications and collateral for sales to leverage with regards to client changes, industry trends, products on dealer platforms.3) Client Relationship ManagementDevelop strong relationships with the key points of contact at our distribution partner firms to maximize Fidelity’s market share at the dealer.Respond to head office inquiries and RFPs about Fidelity’s products.4) Product ManagementDemonstrate a high level of product, market, and competitive investment category expertise .Develop a deep understanding of the drivers of success for our products at various dealer firms.Assist with internal approval processes for new products and solutions.5) Provide Industry AnalysisResearch dealer models to uncover new business opportunities for Fidelity.Develop product positioning, competitive benchmarking / analysis and identify key factors that will influence sales success to build a successful business case for new products and solutions.Collaborate with external resources and internal partners throughout Fidelity to bring new products and solution to market.What You’ll NeedStrong knowledge of investment products and services including Mutual Funds, ETFs, Liquid Alternative and Real Asset products.Exceptional analytical ability.Excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong presentation skills.Proven experience performing complex data analysis (i.e. sales, performance analysis, etc.).What We’re Looking ForCompletion of a University degree or equivalent work experience.Strong Mutual Fund/ETF industry knowledge.3+ years of relevant experience in financial services and/or client relationship management.Completion of CFA/MBA/CAIA/other industry designation is an asset.Some of the ways we’ll help you feel valued and supported as part of our teamFlexible working arrangements – hybrid, and in office options.Competitive total compensation, including company contributions to your group RRSP without a matching requirement from you.Comprehensive health benefits that start on your first day, with 100% employer-paid premiums, that include up to $5000 annually for mental health services and therapy.Parental leave top-up to 100% of your salary for a period of 25 weeksUp to $650 for home office equipmentGenerous time off policy, including 2 paid days annually to volunteer at a charity of your choiceDiversity and inclusion programs, including an active network of Employee Resource GroupsExtensive professional development opportunities, including access to over 11,000 training and development courses, tuition reimbursement, and monetary rewards for completing a required designation.We care a lot about fostering a compassionate, people-centric culture, and are proud to have been named one of Canada’s Top 100 employers for the last five years.Fidelity Canada is an equal opportunity employerFidelity Canada is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
