Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons
• Adapt teaching methods to meet student’s varying needs
• Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants when required
• Manage situations where work isn’t set or appropriate
• Provide timely, clear, and concise feedback on completed work
• Create a positive learning environment through effective classroom management

Key requirements for a Key Stage 2 Cover Teacher:

• Valid DBS allowing work with children (DBS application assistance available)
• Relevant qualifications, including a degree and teaching certifications (e.g., PGCE)
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred, Early Career Teachers (ECTs) welcomed
• Essential primary teaching experience
• Strong commitment and positive attitude towards the role and objectives
