Kitchen assistant Job descriptionWe currently have a vacancy for a kitchen assistant. One post of 16 hours with the possibility of working additional hours as overtime if available. Contracted hours include alternate weekends and some bank holidays. Hours of work are 7am-1am and 2pm to 6 pm.Duties include working alongside the cook in the preparation of food, washing of pots etc. and general cleaning duties. You will also work with individuals to ensure the highest standard of dignity and independence are achieved.If you enjoy working in a kitchen and have a desire to improve the quality of life for older people with dementia in residential care then we would welcome your application.You should be able to work as part of a team.
