Job descriptionStep Teachers are looking for a KS1 Teacher to start in September 2025 in a one form entry Primary School. The school is in Harpenden and they are looking for a KS1 Teacher for a long term supply for at least one academic, but likely to be extended beyond. The school values encourages independence and creativity from their learners.KS1 Teacher Role:

• Possess strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Maintain a tidy and organized classroom with easily accessible resources
• Collaborate effectively with other staff members both in the classroom and throughout the school
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that can be adapted to the needs of the class
• Willingly comply with and effectively implement the school’s policies

KS1 Teacher Requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status
• Have recent experience as a Primary School Teacher, ideally in KS1, in a mainstream school
• Demonstrate good classroom and behaviour management skills
• Experience working with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) is desirable
