Labor Foreman

The Labor Foreman performs basic installation of materials on a construction site.

– Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
– Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew
– Allocate general and daily responsibilities
– Supervise and train workers
– Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
– Ensure that all safety precautions and quality standards are met
– Resolve problems when they arise
– Report on progress to Superintendent

experience/education
– High school diploma or GED
– 2+ years of construction experience
– Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
– In-depth understanding of construction principles and procedures
– Ability to read construction drawings
– Excellent organizational and leadership skills
– Ability to communicate and report effectively
– Strong problem solving skills
– Willingness to work in high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations
– Ability to work in a team environment
– OSHA 10 hour certified ( will assist with obtaining this certification if necessary)
Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.
