Scope of Work

Registration data entry, test order entry, processing of specimens received in various Labs. May have equipment maintenance and quality control duties. May handle hazardous chemicals. May perform some data entry, answering phones, inventory, and filing. Duties may include responsibilities specific to assigned department and may vary dependent on assigned site/department.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months of laboratory experience preferred.

This job posting is for employment with Corewell Health. Effective January 1, 2026, following the execution of a new agreement between Corewell Health and Quest Diagnostics, this position will transition employment to Quest Diagnostics. While this role will be integral to Corewell Health laboratoryoperations, employment will be withQuest Diagnostics effective January 1, 2026, contingent upon successful completion of Quest Diagnostics’ pre-employment requirements.
