| Position Summary | The Devos lab requires the assistance of a full time laboratory technician to ensure that project deliverables are met, undergraduate employees are adequately trained and supervised in the lab, and to ensure that supplies and chemicals are properly ordered and tracked. This position is in the Devos Lab and assists with a variety of research projects as well as conducts administrative duties, ordering, maintaining chemical inventories, and ensuring compliance with lab safety regulations. Additional duties are assisting with greenhouse and field work. This position involves the use of a P-Card |

| Duties/Responsibilities | Administrative duties such as ordering laboratory supplies from various vendors using UGAMart and other platforms. Utilizes CampusOptics for tracking of chemicals stored in the laboratory. Maintain lab safety records along with training new student employees on proper safety and compliance processes. Serves as a P-Card holder, processing transactions in compliance with policy and established procedures. |
