LCCI OTGS: Data Visualization (Power BI) – Associate Consultant/Sr. Associate Consultant

The purpose of the LCCI Business Insights & Analytics team is to partner with the IBU OTGS (Off To a Good Start) and Lilly Direct Team across IBU affiliates through right data, smart analytics and actionable insights. The LCCI Business Insights & Analytics analyst will do data analysis to support achievement of the brand’s goals, while always striving for process improvement and innovation 

Position Responsibilities

• Project Execution: as individual contributor
• To understand business requirements in the BI context and design data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights.
• To analyse data and present it through reports that can help in decision-making
• To be able to convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide the timeline to accomplish tasks
• To design, develop, and deploy Reports, Dashboards and Apps in Power BI
• Power BI scripts and perform efficient detailed analysis
• Power BI DAX and Power Query M-Code
• Solid understanding of Data warehousing and BI concepts & building Data Model in Power BI
• Working knowledge of Office365 groups/ workspaces
• Knowledge of databases as SQL and hands on experience in writing SQL Queries
• To create charts and document data with algorithms, parameters, models, and relations explanations
• Participating in meetings with stakeholders and communicating the final outputs and recommendations
• Ensure high stakeholder satisfaction through consistent delivery of high quality, timely and insightful outputs
• Project Delivery: as team member, supporting the team lead in driving
• Quality, speed, value and compliance throughout the analytics value chain
• Project management for seamless project execution, prioritization and high-quality delivery
• Creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality checklists that will enable excellent quality outputs
• Shared learning forums to identify challenges and establish best practices

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Advanced Analytics and Data Science, or other relevant degree area; Master’s degree preferred in these disciplines
• 2-6 years of data visualization experience with demonstrated ability to think strategically in an ambiguous environment
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Experience with the following technologies: Cloud platforms like AWS & Azure
