Job Overview:

To support and coordinate the daily operations of the Anesthesia Tech team as our busy surgical department. The ideal candidate is a skilled technician with a strong understanding of anesthesia equipment and protocols, excellent organizational skills, and leadership experience or potential. Responsible for assisting with the setup of the operating room for procedures under the supervision of the RN and OR leadership.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years experience in an operating room

Preferred:

• Experience as an Anesthesia Tech with demonstrated leadership capabilities

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Certification as an Anesthesia Technician Cer. A.T.T. or Cer.A.T.
• Basic Life Support with American Heart Association required within 90 days of starting

Scheduling Requirements:

• Day Shift
• Full Time
• Weekends and holiday on call rotation required

Essential Functions:

• Restocking of supplies
• Assisting Anesthesiologists as needed
• Transport specimens, transport patients when needed
• Maintain and ensure readiness of anesthesia equipment and supplies across all surgical areas
• Ensure equipment is available and functioning, picking instruments and needed items for cases
• Other duties as assigned
