Job Summary
The Lead Communications Specialist is responsible for various communication needs of the organization, including fundraising, donor engagement, events, and general marketing and communications support. Manages and executes a cohesive and integrated communication strategy, in collaboration with key stakeholders and in partnership with the Foundation’s Director of Marketing and Communications.
The Lead Specialist oversees the editorial process, from concept to publication, for all Foundation collateral materials. Serves as a line editor and copy editor for all written content and will build and manage communication plans that support philanthropic outreach to donors and stakeholders.
The Lead Specialist routinely collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather information and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Denver Health and Hospital Authority’s priorities and initiatives and stay informed about industry trends and competitors to enhance communication strategies and inform work, implementing best practices.
