Job Description
- Management of Department of State (DOS) annual registration for Honeywell
- Final reviewer of DOS applications and liaison with US Government licensing officers
- Management of DECCS tool
- Serve as Part 130 Subject Matter Expert and prepare reports of Part 130 reports in coordination with other business functions
- Lead and implement management operation systems for Department of State (DOS) export authorizations
- Track and monitor post approval requirements such as sub-licensing Non-Disclosure Agreements, MLA Annual Sales
- Reports, Actionable Provisos, Authorization Owner training, vetting Authorization Owner and health checks
- Provide training to Export Compliance Officers, Authorization Owners and Users
- Support Health Checks, meetings, to drive change and ensure compliance
- Review logs and prepare score cards
- Create and manage metrics, KPIs and present to leadership
- Developing, reviewing, updating, and implementing comprehensive export compliance procedures and forms to drive the Company’s overall compliance with export laws and regulations
- Working with the functions and businesses to ensure export compliance requirements are published in and adopted by business and/or functional processes
- Communicating procedural changes via email, through training, and other communication vehicles
- Supporting the Export Compliance investigations team in investigating and resolving compliance problems, questions, or complaints
- Performing or supporting export related audits including facilitation of data gathering requests
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee compliance related to post-approval reviews for export authorizations
- Conduct final reviews of DOS Export Applications
- Develop, update, communicate procedures and related forms
- Conduct training and training development
- Provide guidance on export regulations
- Manage recordkeeping and support OCR-EASE clean-up projects
- Manage reporting requirements to DOS
- Support sustainment testing
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 7 years in export compliance
- Must have strong knowledge/understanding of Part 130 requirements
- Robust knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
- U.S. Person status as defined by the ITAR

- Detailed knowledge of the export regulations (ITAR and EAR), is plus
- Experience with MS Office
- Experience with SAP / GTS or other ERP systems and related export compliance modules
- Experience with developing or using digital tools
- Master’s degree or juris doctorate a plus
