Lead Mammography Technologist – Liggett Breast Center – 40 Hours – Days

education/experience REQUIRED:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED:

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. American Red Cross (ARC) CPR for Professional Rescuers card will be accepted upon hire but renewal must be a BLS Provider card from AHA.
• One or more of the following required:

o Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire date or job transfer date.

ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES:

• Must have 3-5 years of Mammography experience. This position will oversee daily operations of three breast imaging locations with high volumes and multiple modalities (screening mammography, diagnostic mammography, breast biopsies, breast ultrasound, bone density and ABUS). Job duties will include but not limited to supply ordering, creating and maintaining technologists’ schedules, coordinating maintenance on equipment, performing QC and maintain records for annual inspections.
