Leads the daily operations of assigned department’s imaging services. Responsibilities: Ensures quality imaging, patient care and work flow. Monitors patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy.jobs-near-me.org Oversees quality control testing, equipment maintenance and trouble shooting.jobs-near-me.org Serves as a resource to department staff as well as other members of the team as needed.jobs-near-me.org Performs staff orientation, training, and coaching. Provides input to staff performance evaluations.jobs-near-me.org Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.jobs-near-me.org Ensures all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.jobs-near-me.org Ensures prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).jobs-near-me.org Assists in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.

education/experience REQUIRED:
CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED:
o Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire date or job transfer date.
ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES:
Must have 3-5 years of Mammography experience. This position will oversee daily operations of three breast imaging locations with high volumes and multiple modalities (screening mammography, diagnostic mammography, breast biopsies, breast ultrasound, bone density and ABUS). Job duties will include but not limited to supply ordering, creating and maintaining technologists’ schedules, coordinating maintenance on equipment, performing QC and maintain records for annual inspections.
