TRS Staffing is excited to be working with a dynamic engineering consultancy that has offices throughout Western and Northern Canada. As a Lead Structural Engineer, you will be working in a diverse project environment that covers infrastructure, commercial, industrial, and residential builds. We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Structural Engineer for a permanent staff position based in Edmonton.
Job Description: The Lead Structural Engineer will play a crucial role in managing and mentoring the structural engineering team. This position involves overseeing group structural design, interfacing with clients to build and maintain strong relationships, collaborating with other disciplines, and participating in employee recruitment and team building. Additionally, the role includes managing department scheduling, budgets, and risk management.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor the structural engineering team.
• Oversee group structural design projects.
• Interface with clients to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure project success.
• Participate in employee recruitment and team building.
• Manage department scheduling, budgets, and risk management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P. Eng) designation in a Canadian jurisdiction.
• Diverse structural design experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
