Are you looking to relocate to Cardiff and join one of the most highly respected companies? A prestigious property consultancy has enlisted Beach Baker to recruit a Lease Consultancy / Agency Surveyor, ideally at the Senior Surveyor or Associate level, for their Cardiff office.Role Features:

Role Summary:

• Client-Focused: Develop and maintain strong internal and external contacts.
• Lease Negotiations: Handle rent reviews, lease renewals, surrenders, and re-gears for landlords and tenants.
• Agency Work: Engage in agency work, including property acquisitions, disposals, and lettings.
• Evidence Compilation: Prepare pre-negotiation reports and reports for 3rd party referrals.
• Collaborative Work: Work closely with agency and transactional teams.
• Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent communication and client interfacing skills.
• Progressive Workload: Take on increasing responsibilities as you progress within the firm.

What We Need from You:

• Educational Background: Degree-level Real Estate qualification (RICS accredited).
• Professional Membership: RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
• Versatile Skills: General surveying skills beyond narrow practice areas.
• Legislative Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of lease consultancy legislation.
• Technical Competence: Demonstrable expertise in landlord and tenant matters.

Skills & Personal Qualities:

• Forward Planning: Excellent planning and prioritisation skills.
• Delivery Focused: Thorough and effective execution of lease consultancy services.
• Commercially Minded: Seek efficiencies and increased value for clients.

The successful candidate must be MRICS with proven lease consultancy experience.
