This vacancy is being announced simultaneously with JR10007076; please note that only one vacancy exists. Having two job postings allows the School of Veterinary Medicine to consider candidates with both tenure-track faculty credentials and non-tenure-track faculty credentials for this position.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance (70%)
Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction (20%)
Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations (10%)

Compensation: $65,000 Minimum
Required Qualifications: PhD or DVM degree
Preferred Qualifications: experience teaching anatomy is strongly preferred (e.g., veterinary, comparative, or human). Other teaching experiences could include histology, physiology, neuroscience or pharmacology. Experience or willingness to use Learning Management Systems, such as Canvas, Kaltura, Tophat, and Google suite is helpful. Experience in designing, implementing, and facilitating active and blended learning techniques is beneficial. The successful applicant will be approachable, work well within a teaching team, and will be enthusiastic about teaching first-year veterinary students.
education: PhD or DVM required, DVM is the preferred degree for this position
