Position: Lecturer

Description: The Department of East Asian Studies at Princeton University has an occasional curricular need for lecturers (part-time and/or full-time) to teach East Asian Studies courses, lead precepts, or act as a grader in areas such literature, history, cultural studies, anthropology, film, and media studies. Such position(s) would require leading discussions, attending course lectures, being available for meetings with the course instructor(s), holding regular on-campus office hours, and grading student exams and papers. Any appointments are subject to enrollments and may be for one or two semesters during the 2024-25 academic year, with the potential for renewal depending on departmental need. Advanced degree required. PhDs or doctoral candidates preferred.
