Job Title: Lecturer in Travel and AviationSalary: Lecturer Salary Scale from Pt 5 – Pt 16£28,419 – £41,874 per annum*Subject to a progression criteria – The salary progression criteria beyond point 11 of the Lecturer scale will be based on you achieving and maintaining, on an annual basis, the Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) & QTS. To progress beyond point 14 of the Lecturer salary scale, you will be expected to achieve and maintain the Advanced Teacher Status (ATS).Contract: MC Lecturer, Full Time, PermanentHours: 37 hours per weekTeaching hours: 850 hours per annumAnnual Leave: 45 per annum plus statutory Bank HolidaysPension: Teachers’ PensionAbout the roleWe welcome applications from all disciplines within the Travel and Aviation industry, ideally with qualifications in teaching or training. The job will involve teaching Further Education teaching or Higher Education lecturing and the contract either part-time/ full-time or job share. To plan and deliver a wide range of challenging, relevant learning and work experiences that ensure all learners can develop and apply the skills, knowledge, behaviours, and attitudes required for the 21st Century learning, life and work.About the College
