The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) seeks a promising instructor in Mathematics and Statistics. The department invites applications for the position of a part-time lecturer, with an anticipated starting date of August 2026. The successful applicant will teach 1 lecture section of Math 1214 and 2 lecture sections of Stat 3113 in Fall 2026.
Applicants must have a MS or Ph.D. in mathematics or a closely related discipline. They should have demonstrated excellence in teaching a wide range of courses.

In addition to these items, three reference letters, including at least one letter addressing the candidate’s teaching aptitude, should be made available to the department. Copies of transcript(s) should be provided prior to the start of employment. In addition, the final candidate may be required to verify other credentials listed in application materials.
