What you’ll do

Legal Assistant/Team Secretary will provide a broad range of secretarial, administrative, and organizational support for members of the legal team based in London.

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to approximately 20 legal and compliance professionals, including senior executives (2 E bands). Key tasks include diary management, meeting/event coordination, document preparation, and business travel bookings.
  • Organize onboarding processes for new team members and manage internal processes such as raising purchase requisitions, tracking purchase orders, and handling invoice payments.
  • Handle office administration tasks, including mail collection, courier services, and other general office duties as needed.
  • Collaborate with the wider legal team, liaising with secretaries and administrators in other Group Legal teams, and provide coverage during absences.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with administrative support teams in operating companies, relevant business areas, and group services functions.

Who you are

  • Strong secretarial / general administrative experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word (including track changes) and Excel software
  • Knowledge of Vodafone processes and systems an advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, politically and culturally sensitive in communications
  • Good team working skills

Discretionary yearly bonus: 5%

Annual leave: 28 days + bank holidays + the opportunity to buy/sell/carry over 5 days/year

Charity days: 5 days/year

Maternity leave: 52 weeks out of which the first 13 weeks are fully paid followed by 26 weeks of half pay and 6 months – working 4 days, getting paid 5

Private pension: You can contribute up to 5% of your basic pay with 2:1 matching from Vodafone up to 10%.
