It provides services, directly or via its network of brokers, to millions of consumers in Canada, and has thousands of local employees.To best serve its needs, it is seeking a Lawyer to join its Corporate Services team within the Legal Affairs department.In your role, you will be responsible for maintaining the corporate structure of the company and participating in corporate reorganizations, required regulatory filings, drafting the proxy solicitation circular, preparing board of directors’ meetings, the annual general meeting. You will also draft legal documents relevant to your expertise and supervising the work of the team’s paralegals. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and improvement of policies and procedures related to the board of directors, while advising management on strategies to enhance operational efficiency while ensuring the minimization of legal risks for the company.Are you looking to join a growing company with both local and international presence?
