BoltonAre you an experienced legal practice manager seeking a dynamic role in a supportive and collaborative environment? A well known law firm in Bolton is looking for a talented Practice Manager to join their head office team. The successful work closely with the firm’s Partners and Central Managers, playing a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s future.Why This Role Stands Out:– Collaborative Environment: Join a friendly and busy office where teamwork and mutual support are paramount.
– Strategic Influence: Work directly with the firm’s leadership to develop and implement strategic business, financial, marketing, and HR plans.
– Diverse Responsibilities: Engage in a variety of tasks, from managing supplier contracts to overseeing compliance with SRA Standards and Regulations.
– Professional Growth: Enhance your skills by managing complex projects, including M&A initiatives, and contributing to the firm’s operational management.Key Responsibilities:– Collaborate with Partners to develop and execute the firm’s strategy and business plans.
– Implement financial plans in conjunction with the Accounts Manager and Finance Partner.
– Support Department Heads in preparing business plans and budgets.
– Manage and deliver projects through central management teams.
– Develop and implement marketing and HR plans with relevant managers.
– Ensure compliance with SRA Standards and maintain risk management and quality control systems.
– Oversee IT plans with the IT Director and manage annual audits for various accreditations.
– Handle operational management
– Manage supplier contracts and insurances through brokers and advisers.Skills and Experience Required:– Proven leadership and management abilities within a legal environment.
– Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to coordinate multiple projects and work under pressure.
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex issues.
– A team player who can gain the confidence of Partners and staff.
– Relevant management degree or equivalent qualification.
– Experience with LEXCEL Accreditation and officer roles such as COFA, MLRO, DPO, or SRO is preferable.This role is perfect for a seasoned professional ready to take on a challenging and rewarding position.
