£26k per year + benefitsLegal Secretary – LutonNewstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Legal Secretary in Luton to join a reputable law firm within their Private Client department. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a full-time, office-based position supporting solicitors in a busy, fast-paced environment.📍 Location: Luton
💷 Salary: £26,000 per annum + excellent benefits package
⏰ Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
📌 Job Type: Full-time, PermanentKey Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive secretarial support to solicitors within the Private Client department
- Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and forms with high accuracy
- Handle audio typing and fast-paced dictation work
- Maintain and organise client files and records
- Liaise with clients professionally both in person and over the phone
- Ensure deadlines are met and all work is completed to a high standard
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as a legal secretary within a firm of solicitors is essential
- A legal secretarial qualification is highly desirable
- Proficient in fast, accurate audio typing
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work well as part of a team
